Iniziano le prove della sceneggiatura. Elvis passa la serata al Moulin Rouge, pagando una ricevuta con un assegno di $ 102,35.
Durante questo periodo a Hollywood, Elvis va di frequente al Moulin Rouge e al Cloister, riuscendo così a vedere spesso spettacoli di Bobby Darin e Sammy Davis Jr.
