La RCA scrive ad Elvis chiedendogli di fissare una data per iniziare una nuova session di registrazione, dando evidenza di cosa si aspetta: un nuovo album, due nuovi singoli e un nuovo album di canzoni religiose.

“Al fine di avere il materiale disponibile” scrive perentorio George Parkill “abbiamo fissato una session di registrazione per metà luglio”. La lettera continua dando ad Elvis la scelta del luogo della session, ma deve assolutamente essere fatta.
