Elvis aderisce ad una richiesta di donazione per aiutare Ivory Joe Hunter, meglio conosciuto come l’autore di “Since I Met You Baby (e di tante altre canzoni interpretate da Elvis, tra cui “My Whish Come True”).
Infatti Hunter è in ospedale, malato di cancro.
Elvis spedisce un assegno di $ 1.000 all’ Ivory Joe Hunter Fund di Memphis, con una biglietto in cui dice “Mi dispiace molto sapere che Ivory è ammalato.
