Il numero di presenti totalizzato in questi due spettacoli ha battuto ogni record, essendoci state 37.398 persone, battendo persino il record del Rolling Stones, l’anno prima. Il guadagno netto è stato di $ 300.000.

Tra i due spettacoli, un tipo che si spaccia per “fan”, ma che invece è un impiegato del tribunale, presenta ad Elvis dei documenti, in cui c'è la citazione su un’ipotetica paternità in corso.

Mentre si trova a Denver, Elvis parla un po’ con i poliziotti incaricati di proteggerlo. Mostra la sua collezione di distintivi e rimane piuttosto infastidito quando loro arrivano, in cambio, con un distintivo onorario. Elvis aveva programmato di tornare a Denver per ottenere un vero distintivo. Però invita i poliziotti di Denver ad andare a vederlo alla sua prossima esibizione a Las Vegas.

Elvis vola a Los Angeles dove arriva alle 17.45. A Los Angeles incontra Paul Frees, che mostra ad Elvis il suo badge BNDD (Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs). Elvis, che è molto fissato con i distintivi, decide che vuole avere questo distintivo anche lui.

In occasione di una sua visita a Palm Springs, Elvis incontra il Vice Presidente, Spiro Agnew. Elvis vuole regalare a Agnew una pistola speciale, ma il Vice Presidente è costretto a rifiutarla, pur rimanendo molto impressionato dello spirito patriottico di Elvis.

Elvis torna a Memphis in aereo e arriva alle prime ore del mattino. Durante il suo breve soggiorno a Memphis, Elvis fa in modo di ottenere un porto d’armi per suo padre Vernon

Dopo essersi fermato 2 giorni a Memphis, Elvis torna a Los Angeles.

Il singolo "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me" raggiunge l’11° posto in U.S., mentre “I've Lost You" è al 9° posto in U.K.
