Tornato a Memphis dopo il suo tour, Elvis viene visto correre in motocicletta.
Da questo momento cominciano a girare voci che Red e Sonny West insieme a Dave Hebler stanno scrivendo un libro sulla loro vita con Elvis.
Infatti dopo un primo contatto da parte di Rick Husty e Frank Liebermann, già corrispondente del Los Angeles Herald-Examiner, i tre sono nel bel mezzo di una collaborazione con Steve Dunleavy del giornale The Star per fare le loro rivelazioni.
