Il Colonnello lancia una campagna pubblicitaria per l’imminente ingaggio di Elvis a Las Vegas con menu, foto, cartoline, cataloghi, album di foto e cappellini con la scritta “The Elvis Presley Summer Festival 1970”
Il singolo di "The Wonder of You" è al 1° posto nella classifica U.K.
Elvis inizia le prove all’International Hotel Convention Centre, mentre la MGM continua le riprese per la realizzazione del film “That’s The Way It Is”.
Le prove dureranno tre giorni, in cui i cantanti sono previsti iniziare alle 13.00, mentre tutto il gruppo inizia alle 19.00
Per tutti, le prove del TTWII, si spostano sul palco principale della showroom dell’International Hotel.
