Il tour ha fruttato quasi un milione di dollari

Tornato a Memphis dopo il suo tour, Elvis viene visto correre in motocicletta.

Da questo momento cominciano a girare voci che Red e Sonny West insieme a Dave Hebler stanno scrivendo un libro sulla loro vita con Elvis.

Infatti dopo un primo contatto da parte di Rick Husty e Frank Liebermann, già corrispondente del Los Angeles Herald-Examiner, i tre sono nel bel mezzo di una collaborazione con Steve Dunleavy del giornale The Star per fare le loro rivelazioni. Le reazioni di Elvis sull’argomento sono alternate tra una sorta di rassegnazione ed enormi esplosioni di rabbia verso le sue guardie del corpo, nonché vecchi amici
