Si suppone la cintura abbia un valore di $ 10.000 ed Elvis indossa spesso questa cintura e con molto orgoglio.

Elvis vola a Phoenix per la prima data di questo tour. La RCA ha fatto una grossa promozione per questo show e la vendita dei biglietti ha fatto il sold out, in sole due ore.
Elvis viene raggiunto da tutti i musicisti che aveva a Las Vegas, tranne gli Imperials, che non possono esserci per precedenti impegni.
Anche qui Joe Guercio dirige l’orchestra, Charlie Hodge fa da seconda voce e assistente di Elvis, fornendogli acqua e sciarpe, Lamar Fike cura le luci. La sicurezza è capeggiata da Sonny West e Richard Davis si occupa del guardaroba di Elvis per i concerti. Il medico personale del tour è il Dr. George Nichopoulos. Il Colonnello Parker anticipa il tour, arrivando in ogni città prima di Elvis per supervisionare la preparazione di tutto il necessario per i concerti.
